Teacher quits profession after viral rant on how AI is 'ruining' education
Hannah, a former teacher, joins'Fox & Friends' to explain why she left the classroom, saying AI tools are making it difficult to teach. A former high school English teacher went viral this week after posting a candid video on social media announcing she was quitting the teaching profession because of how technology was "ruining" education. In her video, which reached over 1 million views on TikTok, Hannah explained how AI tools have made teaching more difficult because students rely on technology to do the work for them and are unmotivated to put in effort themselves. She said that kids do not know how to read because of read-aloud tools, and have short attention spans because of the "high stimulation" of social media. "They want to use [technology] for entertainment. They don't want to use it for education," she said in a TikTok video which reached over 1 million views.

AI is running the classroom at this Texas school, and students say 'it's awesome'
Alpha School co-founder Mackenzie Price and a junior at the school Elle Kristine join'Fox & Friends' to discuss the benefits of incorporating artificial intelligence into the classroom. At a time when many American students are struggling to keep up, a private school in Texas is doing more with less, much less. At Alpha School, students spend just two hours a day in class, guided by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tutor. But results are impressive: students are testing in the top 1 to 2% nationally. "We use an AI tutor and adaptive apps to provide a completely personalized learning experience," said Alpha co-founder MacKenzie Price during an interview on Fox & Friends.

Texas private school's use of new 'AI tutor' rockets student test scores to top 2% in the country
Alpha School co-founder Mackenzie Price and a junior at the school, Elle Kristine, join'Fox & Friends' to discuss the benefits of incorporating artificial intelligence into the classroom. A Texas private school is seeing student test scores soar to new heights following the implementation of an artificial intelligence (AI) "tutor." At Alpha School in Austin, Texas, students are placed in the classroom for two hours a day with an AI assistant, using the rest of the day to focus on skills like public speaking, financial literacy, and teamwork. "We use an AI tutor and adaptive apps to provide a completely personalized learning experience for all of our students, and as a result our students are learning faster, they're learning way better. In fact, our classes are in the top 2% in the country," Alpha School co-founder Mackenzie Price told "Fox & Friends." Will A.I. make schools'obsolete,' or does it present a new'opportunity' for the education system?

Biotech CEO predicts 'revolutionary' steps toward curing cancer on horizon thanks to AI
SELLAS Life Sciences CEO Angelos Stergiou joined'Fox & Friends' to discuss how artificial intelligence has positively impacted medicine as his company works to develop a vaccine for leukemia. SELLAS Life Sciences CEO Angelos Stergiou says his company is already on the cusp of a finalized leukemia vaccine, but another game-changer – personalized cancer vaccines – could be on the horizon, thanks to artificial intelligence. "I think it's going to be a revolutionary decade in medicine and in clinical research," he said Thursday on "Fox & Friends." "Where AI comes into play is where it's going to allow us to do things expeditiously, and it's going to be more personalized. In other words, if you have a patient with a cancer, we can then use AI to do a genomic sequencing and, with the results, we can then either create a specific vaccine or treatment, or we can say this specific treatment will work for the patient."

Parents of fallen soldier remember daughter killed in drone strike, awaiting call from Biden
Oneida and Shawn Sanders remember their daughter, 24-year-old Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, as a goal-oriented and competitive person who loved serving her country. The parents of one of the U.S. soldiers killed in a drone strike in Jordan spoke out Tuesday morning about the loss of their daughter, as they await a phone call from President Biden. Kennedy's parents, Oneida and Shawn Sanders joined "Fox & Friends" to discuss the unexpected loss and how they want America to respond to the deadly attack that took their daughter's life. "As a grieving parent, I would not want to see any other parent go through what we're going through right now, but given the circumstances, our child and the others who lost their lives are considered heroes in this situation," Oneida said.

Bathroom-cleaning robot built for commercial businesses gives consumers hope for AI maid
The CyberGuy, Kurt Knutsson, tells'Fox & Friends' about the'danger' of e-scooter speed limit hacking and robot janitors doing the'dirty work' for companies. An automation company's commercial bathroom-cleaning robot is giving consumers hope that one day there will be an at-home version. Somatic, a technology-focused cleaning service based in New York City, has seemingly grown enough in the three years since its founding that consumer technology shoppers are voicing their hope for residential bathroom-cleaning robots. Technology journalist and contributor Kurt Knutsson, also known as the "CyberGuy," spoke with Ainsley Earhardt of "Fox & Friends" on Friday, Sept. 15, to discuss Somatic's offerings. "You got to see this robot from Somatic," said Knutsson during his in-studio interview.
Elon Musk to develop 'TruthGPT' as he warns about 'civilizational destruction' from AI
Tucker Carlson joined'Fox & Friends' to discuss his interview of Musk and his dire warning on the broader concerns surrounding artificial intelligence. Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk revealed he will start his own version of an artificial intelligence chatbot, coined "TruthGPT," during an exclusive interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson. The Twitter and Tesla CEO sat down with Carlson for an interview to discuss why he will establish an alternative to ChatGPT, an AI app developed by progressive programmers that he helped initially fund, and the broader concerns he has about how the software can affect freedom of information. "I'm going to start something which I call TruthGPT, or a maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe," Musk told Carlson. "And I think this might be the best path to safety in the sense that an AI that cares about understanding the universe is unlikely to annihilate humans because we are an interesting part of the universe."
Elon Musk's AI warning is 'unprecedented' and shows 'extraordinary' level of concern, says Douglas Murray
Fox News contributor Douglas Murray joined'Fox & Friends' to discuss why Musk and other experts are calling for a halt to artificial intelligence systems for six months. In an open letter, tech experts and leaders in the industry called for a six-month pause on AI experiments, a move that Fox News contributor Douglas Murray believes shows a "deep concern" that is growing about the risks of artificial intelligence. The letter, which was signed by Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, reads, in part: "AI systems with human-competitive intelligence can pose profound risks to society … and should be planned for and managed with commensurate care. Murray said on "Fox & Friends" Wednesday that the request for a moratorium is extraordinary and is a sign that experts are worried. I INTERVIEWED CHATGPT AS IF IT WAS A HUMAN; HERE'S WHAT IT HAD TO SAY THAT GAVE ME CHILLS "The fact that there has now been this stressing that we could be in trouble.
Janice: Excited for eclipse
I was 8-years-old and remember being both terrified and intrigued about something that was being talked about everywhere. This wasn't a storyline out of a science fiction movie or novel, this was real, and happening here on Earth. Millions of people were going to witness something that maybe happens a couple of times in our lifetime: A total solar eclipse. Our teachers were planning lessons about this incredible celestial event. Chalkboard diagrams, planetary mobiles and handmade viewing devices were being created out of shoe boxes.
